The trial of Seth Cravens, 22 continues today with jurors deliberating his fate. Charged with the death of Emery Kauanui,24. He is the only defendant to not take a plea. Three plead to involuntary manslaughter, and the other plead to accessory after the fact.

The defense is claiming Self-defense, which is odd considering you can’t be defending yourself if you agree to fight. The prosecution is claiming that only Kauanui, acted in Self-defense.

Contrary to the portrayal by his mom, Kauanui was not as innocent as some say. He was a hard drinker who routinely got into fights while hanging with a crowd of ne’er do wells.

    • Grosso said Kauanui had lost the fight with House, but managed to stand up. She said Cravens then hit Kauanui with a single punch.

“I heard his skull crack when it hit the pavement. I mean, at that point, after the punch happened, it was like, silence, and there was like a ‘crack’. It was just like a ’slap’, a clean break, and you could hear it . I mean it sounded like something pinged off the concrete and then immediately after that there was a pool of blood that started streaming from the back of Emery’s head,” Grosso said.

Cynthia Sommer — convicted, then un-convicted of her Marine husband’s death by the incompetent DA of San Diego County — will not have her request for dismissal heard by the Judge who presided over the original trial.

San Diego Superior Court Judge John Einhorn yesterday denied Bloom’s request to transfer the matter to Judge Peter Deddeh, now in El Cajon, who granted the new trial.

Einhorn said the defense wants Deddeh to evaluate the new evidence – the second set of tissue samples – in light of what was presented at trial. However, the law would not allow Deddeh to factor new evidence into his decision, making a transfer unnecessary.

The motion will be taken up again on Dec 5th.

Sommer was convicted in 2007, and then has the charges dismissed when the DA’s office finally figured out their evidence was flawed. This came after Sommer was granted a new trial for ‘ineffectual counsel.’

Governor Idiot of California says the GOP should move beyond Ideology. Clearly he missed the election this year. John McCain tried that and lost to an Ideologue. He also missed how Conservative ideas ARE winning when they are put forth, and his ‘finger to the wind’ “moderate” approach is failing miserably. More stupidity from the Blovinator.

Even worse the Blovinator is for Homosexual Marriages. He even encouraged the anti-prop-8 freaks to not give up. It’s three strikes and you are out. This is the same Governor who vetoed Same Sex Marriage Twice before.

Get over it, your left wing bullcrap is dead. Obama is your last hurrah.

Next … forced voting

That is the only logical conclusion to draw about this “reform.”

“Election Reformers” want forced registration of ALL “eligible voters.”

Oh yea, nothing bad could happen here. It’s not like dead people vote in Chicago, or illegals vote in Los Angeles, or ACORN (Obama’s former employer) is signing up people who are not supposed to vote.

If you don’t have the sense to register to vote, then you are too stupid to vote anyway. It’s called personal responsibility.

Beyond that, who the hell made them the voter registration police. This is starting to sound like Orwell’s book, “1984.”
