OK that is bit over the top. However I find this a bit odd. You can purchase a toy to practice scanning people at airports. It’s billed as being a way to get kids accustomed to airport security. The usual nuts are out on the attack as usual.

Here we go again. Lindbergh field had to divert flights due to a “radio” failure. Does it sound familiar to you? It did to me: ATC radio outage grounds LAX in 2004. Then last year the ATC had to use personal cell phones to clear traffic over 8 states. Not to worry, it’s being worked [...]
