To all the anti-Texas people out there; how does it feel to be WRONG! All the Sam Bradford hype was wrong. The attacks on Colt McCoy were wrong. All of the “Texas can’t beat Oklahoma” b.s. is wrong.
Alabama is over hyped and over ranked.
This sets up Mizzou in Austin next week. Oh baby! It’s another great season
Why this game is special
For those who have never been to the State Fair of Texas — the Red River Rivalry occurs at the Cotton Bowl which is inside the Fairgrounds — visit Big Tex dot Com to get a taste. It also helps Dallas and the surrounding area, and they need it. Everyone can compete.

It was quite possibly the worst officiating in Red River Rivalry history. However, the hype about Bradford wasnt “wrong”. The dude threw for nearly 400 yds and had 5 TDs. The defense and special teams lost the game for the Sooners. Bradford is still the better QB.
I knew something was in the air before the game when Smack Brown complimented Stoops TWICE in the pregame hype. There can only be 3 possible reasons for this, 1-he’s medicated, 2-he’s been neutered, or 3-he’s undergone shock therapy. I noticed he had a strange, unlined botox-y, vacant look to his face throughout the game-very odd for ole Smack. Well, maybe he’s had a facelift.
The Longhorns still have to get through Mizzou, OSU, TT and A&M, which is highly unlikely.

When OU wins they claim it’s their superior play, ability, and team. When OU loses it’s the referees fault, or UT cheated. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that …
The officiating was no worse or better than most games. I notice you didn’t mention the gift touchdown you received, or the acting by your punter.
Football is a team sport. The best team won.
Now I remember why I can’t stand OU, it’s the whining.
no whining, just speaking the facts-BOTH sides had horribly raunchy calls by the refs, and as I said before, the DEFENSE and Special TEAMS lost the game for the Sooners…we were leading throughout the whole game until the 4th quarter, then the horns pulled the big plays when we couldnt do shit.
Everyone knows that we’ve had the superior ability, superior team, and superior plays for years, thats why we have the better record-Smack cant say he’s beaten Stoops five years in a row. SMack-there’s a whiner for ya!
Does this whole OU-Texas thing mean me and the girls cant buy you a drink in November??
BTW what in the hell is Major Applewhite doing working for the very guy that screwed him so badly? That is what made me feel sick on Saturday…not losing.
It was a great game! Both teams just went after it and unfortunately the “loser longhorns” actually won. Too bad we can’t see them in the Big 12 Championship so we can repay them. We dominated the game, our quarterback “Sammy Baby” rules (and is only a sophmore) as for McCoy quarterbacking skills, he should become an actor and be nominated for an Oscar! He was ridiculous and started the drama scenes.
Hey Mark, you know why Oklahoma has so many tornadoes? Because Texas SUCKS and Kansas BLOWS!
