Steve Foley settles with Coronado

Steve Foley is held back by his mother, Betty, during the trial which was settled today. Foley was staring down Aaron Mansker, as Mansker sat at the rear of the courtroom, at one point moving toward him.
Steve Foley has settled his lawsuit with the city of Coronado. He was to take the stand today. An alternate juror stated that Officer Mansker was “way out of line” in the incident.
Foley was supposed to testify today. My guess is that his behavior in court would have hurt his case.
Before the settlement was announced by Superior Court Judge Richard Strauss, Foley seemed to stare angrily at the man who shot him, Coronado police Officer Aaron Mansker, who was in the courtroom.
Foley’s mother, Betty, was finally able to convince her son to go into chambers and talk to Strauss about the settlement.
Just another hot-head NFL player who thinks he is above the law.
Something for some on here to remember:
An expert witness called by lawyers for the Coronado police officer who shot former Chargers linebacker Steve Foley testified today that if an officer hesitates for even a second before firing at an armed suspect, it will likely be too late.
Settlement suddenly reached in Foley-Mansker suit
Foley still believes he is above the law
