Oceanside Police Releases Shooting Report

The Oceanside PD has released it’s findings in the case of Rachel Silva and Off-duty Officer Frank White in a Lowe’s parking lot here in Oceanside. The cop haters will of course ignore it, saying it’s tainted as they do not want the truth anyway. Hopefully the rest of us, will not be so hateful. Lot’s of people are going to eat crow on this one.

It is now clear why Rachel Silva hired a defense attorney and is not willing to give a statement. Her case of “amnesia” is now suspect; more so than before.
OPD says that Rachel Silva while pulling out of a gas station — driving on a suspended license and with 2 DUIs to her credit — almost hit Officer White. Instead of letting it go, she then “tail-gated aggresively” Officer White’s vehicle — containing him and his wife — into the Lowe’s parking lot. Officer White’s wife called police to request assistance. Silva pulled up next to the White’s vehicle. OPD says he “showed” her his weapon. After pulling back she then rammed the side of the White’s vehicle. Then Officer White fired upon her.
Funny how the media in all of their re-creations, missed so many details. So much for Silva NOT being armed. As I said before, a vehicle is a weapon; especially when you aim it at someone and then drive into their vehicle.
I am looking for someone who has the report, so I can post it.
Roger Hedgecock off the tracks
Roger must be smoking something really potent. He claimed on the radio today (18:20) that the cops are covering up the crime. The presumption is that Officer White is guilty and the Rachel Silva is a wonderful abused victim. Unreal. I have lost all respect for Roger. No doubt the hippie contingent will start tuning him in, now.
The boy’s — Silva’s second and former — attorney has no comment on the report.

I am not a cop hater in fact my brother is a police officer, if anyone BRANDISHED a fire arm I would probably do the same thing as Silva.
Cops have been killling, beating, lying, and fabricating evidence since the badge has been invented. It appears more previlent now because video is readily available to the general public.
Cops have a dirty and dangerous job but believe me there is a large percentage that are power hungry, sick individuals that should be in jail themselves.

I always find it strange when people have to say “I am not a cop hater” right before they justify assaulting a cop. I am guessing your brother might not think so highly of that remark.
Criminals lie, cheat, steal, and fabricate — or conveniently forget — evidence or facts to accuse cops of all sorts of nefarious activity; especially when that criminal knows they are headed to prison unless they can find a way out. Her behavior is typical of criminals. She knows she is going to prison, unless she can make people blame the cop. Not a criminal hater, just a realist!
Since Silva was the aggressor, I presume that you think it’s OK for her to be out on the streets on a suspended license, convicted not once, but two times of DUI — why is this woman NOT in prison — and who can’t remember a thing about the incident; but can find an attorney, hell 3 attorneys to allege that Officer White is the problem. Are you really that dense?
Even so, why would anyone but a drunk or drugged up idiot get involved in an argument while driving when she should not be on the road at all? Why is it that no is willing to ask if her actions are those of an honest, trustworthy person? They are not, but that is not the point.
I am disgusted that so many side with the criminal first out of their own hatred of, or jealousy of, or vindictive attitude toward the police for some perceived slight or belief that all cops are bad. If you want law and order you can’t go blaming a cop — who seems to have no issues — and siding with a two time loser, who is looking to stay out of prison.
Oh and no one said he “brandished” his weapon. That is nothing but your attempt to color him guilty. My guess is that your brother is not a cop, or you and he do not talk much.

Lets just wish frank was a better shot, both she and the kid would be dead and this would be out of the news once and for all. That kid will now grow up and maybe come back and get frank and his wife, one can dream…..
