Rachel Silva’s son files complaint
Apr 2nd, 2008 by Mark
The same ‘ambulance chaser’ who represents Rachel Silva has convinced her ex-husband to file on the son’s behalf, a complaint against the San Deigo Police Department. The question now is why didn’t Rachel Silva do it instead? I have no doubt that the mouthpiece did this to bolster his case against SDPD and the officer. It wouldn’t look good, if she filed it. Now we have dragged a Marine into this merely so an ‘ambulance chaser’ can make a few shekels. If she is in the right, she is surely not going about this the right way. I have lost all faith in her story.
File for me daddy, I want to be rich
Son of Silva files complaint against SDPD
Once again the ambulance chaser has played another card. This time he had a Marine father filed a claim with SDPD on behalf of his son(PDF), no doubt so he can play on the sympathy for a Marine angle. This is the first step toward a shakedown errr lawsuit against the city. I guess it was too crass having the mother file the claim. Don’t want to look too greedy.
“The boy was clearly visible,” the claim says. “(He) tried to crouch down, lowering his torso in the seat. His left leg was raised up as a result. White deliberately shot through the passenger window, striking (the boy) in his left leg at the level of the knee.”
What I find odd, is that the mother claims to not remember much of anything — except when doing interviews on Television and she seems to know a lot — and a boy who was crouching in a foot well — out of sight and not seeing much — can file claims on an incident. Don’t you have to know what happened, to file a complaint?
“Then White pointed his gun directly at [Silva's son], who was seated in the front passenger seat,”
Even more bizarre how do you claim the officer intentionally fired at the boy?
The thing that really irks me about all of this is that some people just don’t care whether the cop is right; they are more concerned with defending criminals and spewing hatred of cops than finding out the truth. Typical liberals. Then these same idiots complain when cops are hesitant to enforce the laws that liberals like. Well duh.

Are you for real??? It seems to me that you are a liberal posing as a conservative to make us “Real Conservatives” look like irrational idiots. This woman was unarmed and was fired upon (along with her 8 yo son) Plain and simple the cops was in the wrong. She did nothing to warrant the officer to execute her and her baby. This doesnt surprise me based on past news stories and my personal expiriences with the SDPD. By the way I have no recent criminal record, I did get a few speeding tickets in the late 70’s. Granted Silva looks pretty creepy, tatoos, Dui’s, divoriced and she looks like a tweeker with VD to me. Not much different than you with a professional gambling vise (pretty creepy in my book) are you on drugs too? Sure seems that way to me. Just an observation and educated guess. Your statements on your web site only reinforce my accusations. If I am wrong maybe you should see a mental heath professional, because you have some mental health issues to deal with. Just wanted to give my take on your statements. Some of your posters have enlightened me on some of the factors involving this case such as the financial benifit of keeping this filthy cop on paid leave. Your statements about Silva not making a statement backs up my opinion that your bread aint quite done, You have the right to remain silent!!! Silva understands that why dont you??? Please stop representing yourself as a conservative it make people of moral fiber look bad. By the way some of your sunset photos are great, some of your other photos like the one above I just dont get. Maybe it take a dope smoking liberal to get it but it wont happen here
Mark - you’re at it again. You’re really pushing your biased view - but that’s okay, as this is your blog.
Actually Gene Iredale is a very well-respected criminal defense lawyer in San Diego. Your broad brush approach, calling him “an ambulance chaser” belies your bias toward all lawyers. Hey, Mark, if you ever get in trouble with the law - ya know, DUI, bar fight, hitting your woman, call Mr. Iredale. He’s a great defense lawyer.
And why shouldn’t the boy and mom file claims? don’t your believe in redress of grievances? or are you the type that believes in anything the government says? Hey, if you do, I’ve got a bridge to sell ya.
You probably also support the war in Iraq. Government, ours - that is - can do no wrong. Hey, it’s your blog.
Also, really, thanks for coming on ours to make comments. We can mix it up here or there. But that’s what dialog is all about.
Special K,
A vehicle is a deadly weapon. Back to driver’s ed for you. “Professional Gambling Vice”? *rotflmao* Please enlghten me. I didn’t realize I was making a second income from “gambling”.
[MARK: I don't gamble btw, I do play Poker, and quite well]
Frank,
*lol* Yes I despise and distrust most attorneys. I side with Shakespeare on this issue. No denying it. The key phrase is “defense” attorney. I find it telling that her first attorney did not take the case, and “referred” her to the new guy.
Oh and Frank, next time someone is stealing your stuff, maybe you should NOT call a cop to help you. I find it funny that it’s ok to criticize cops, but it’s not ok to criticize the ‘ambulance chasers’.
re: current photo *lmao* sorry that one is ‘tongue in cheek’ joke. Oh and thanks for the kind words on my photos.
