I Knew This Was Coming

Armando claims to the the star of “Flip This House”. He’s not
Armando Montelongo — of ‘flip this house’ fame — has been indicted in Travis County for “theft of service”. In other words, he’s a dead beat.
What’s a star to do
The “star” is not paying his taxes, paying his contactors, and has houses in foreclosure.
Armando Montelongo Jr., 36, faces up to two years in state jail if convicted. The indictment, handed up Wednesday, charges that from January 2006 through February 2007 Montelongo failed to pay home appraisal fees in Travis County.
According to an arrest affidavit, Montelongo hired Reliance Appraisal Services of Austin to perform several appraisals but never paid. The cost of those appraisals was $4,125, the affidavit said.
Armando bills himself as the owner of the fastest growing “real estate company” in Texas.
Armando Montelongo is the star of A&E’s hit show Flip This House. Starting with nothing, Armando turned himself into a flipping machine, inspiring millions with his rags-to-riches story. In less than 5 years he became America’s largest residential real estate investor. Armando unlocks the vault to his business secrets through his program Flip it Now.
Did you see that? “… the star…” of Flip this House. He is not by the way.
In reality it’s clear he is nothing but a flashy loud talking ‘big man’ who treats his contractors like dirt and then make hollow gestures to get people to think he is ‘doing a good thing’. Every word is calculated to make himself look like a “winner” when in fact he is not.
You don’t think so, watch this video here. Well gee Armando, if you are making so much money then why are you not paying your bills? Those of you are not up on internet marketing may not recognize the site design. It is typical of the Huckster “send me info on getting rich” used by so many of the current crop of “business people” aka ‘get-rich-quick’ types. Oh and he really thinks that “business people” dress like he does.
When you see me on television, you get to see my successes. What you don’t see is all of the failures that I have had before I started flipping houses. It’s very easy to share your success, but much harder to share your failures with the world. However, I believe in being dirt honest and by doing so, I believe that sharing my failures will actually help you be more successful.
That is too funny. This clown bought a house without an inspection and ended up having to gut it. If that’s a success, then thanks I will pass.
I am sure you know many people like that. They are a dime a dozen out here in California. Always talking about the ‘big deal’ they are, when in fact, they are not. Leveraged to the hilt, tittering on bankruptcy to drive pricey cars and live in neighborhoods they can’t afford to be in. Worst of all they say stupid things like this:
I literally rolled into town on my last tank of gas.
Unbelievable. Seems some people are not too impressed with the ONE Thousand Dollar Package.
Oh and if you are not convinced these folks are trouble, check this page out. Maybe that is why he has houses in Foreclosure. He is not paying his taxes, either. Nice.
I wonder if A&E will cancel the show now, like they did to the “Dog”?
