Tony Singh - carjacking victim faces murder charges in UK
Think America has cornered the market on stupid police and prosecutors? Think again. Shopkeeper faces murder for defending his life during a carjacking.
Th Police arrested him on the scene, even though the dead person was a known criminal, and a violent one at that, the passenger side windows were smashed, and Mr. Singh has obvious signs of being attacked.
Protect Yourself, Go To Jail in UK
This is just unbelievable.
A shopkeeper who heroically fought off an armed robber could be charged with murder after the thief was fatally stabbed with his own knife as they tussled.
Tony Singh, 34, was arrested after he fought back when career criminal Liam Kilroe - on the run after being charged with two other robberies - ambushed him at knifepoint as he was about to go home.
There was a struggle before Kilroe, 25, fell back with a fatal stab wound to his chest. He tried to run away but collapsed and died in a pool of blood only yards away.
Police arrested Mr Singh on suspicion of murder and are now preparing to send a file to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
Un. Real. So much for the Brits being the more civilized.
The Yob Got What He Deserved

Liam Kilroe - alleged carjacker, thief.
The scum who attacked Mr. Singh was a known career criminal.
Kilroe had been given bail last year despite pleas he remain in custody after his trial for the two earlier robberies collapsed.
It appears that he Keystone Cops are in uniform in Britain.
Mr Singh was eventually freed on bail after several eye-witnesses backed up his story that Kilroe had been trying to rob the shop and was stabbed with his own knife.
But Lancashire Police are now sending a file to the CPS for lawyers to consider whether murder, manslaughter or assault charges should be brought against him.
Fellow shopkeepers and customers have leapt to his defence and claim Kilroe got what he deserved.
Yea, they arrested Mr. Singh because essentially he as the only one left standing. People in the area are rallying around him.
One customer said: “Tony only did what he thought was right and stood up for himself and yet he is the one facing a possible murder charge.
“The robber had form as long as your arm and simply paid the price for his own yobbery. There are going to be times when the victims fight back.
“There is an old phrase those who live by the sword die by the sword and and that was the case here.”
A shopkeeper said: “Tony is a much-loved shopkeeper who has worked hard all his life - often doing 13 and 14-hour days.
“He wouldn’t dream of harming anyone - yet it seems he is the one being treated as a criminal.”
What could the cops be thinking? If this is considered police work in the U.K. no wonder they can’t stop terrorists.
Police have revealed that Kilroe had a string of convictions, including assault, burglary, possession of cannabis, possession of an offensive weapon and robbery.
In 2002, he was given four months in youth custody for robbing another shop at knifepoint.
He struck yet again after his release, this time holding up two shops at gunpoint, and was brought to trial last September.
Prosecuting lawyers had told the court he had a “propensity to commit” armed robbery, but the jury was discharged after two days for legal reasons.
Kilroe, originally from Billinge near St Helens, was released on bail and appeared to have vanished, forcing police to issue a warrant for his arrest.
A post-mortem revealed he died of a single stab wound to the chest.
Well that is exactly the kind of person who an honest shopkeeper would MURDER. Unbelievable. The world has gone mad. The Brits should be ashamed.
