John McCain is full of crap
Feb 5th, 2008 by Mark
Sick and tired of this ad running here in San Diego County. It is such bullcrap.
On the issue of immigration there is no debate that our borders are broken. There are 12 million people here illegally. I’ve listened and learned. We must secure our borders first and restore trust and confidence in our government. As President, I’ll hire new border patrol guards, build a fence, ask governors to certify that their borders are secure. The two million people who have committed crimes will be deported immediately. No one will be rewarded for illegal behavior. They’ll go the the back of the line, pay fines and learn English. For those already in our country, there will be no special privileges, and we’ll punish employers who hire illegal immigrants. We’ll be humane and compassionate, but we will be firm. It’s a matter of national security.
You might as well run an ad that says:”Hey morons vote for McCain. You are suckers and should vote for me because I tell you that I am like you. Ignore my record it doesn’t matter, only winning the White House matters.”
What the ad really says
Let’s break the ad down.
On the issue of immigration there is no debate that our borders are broken.
Really? I keep hearing how the borders are just fine, and we don’t need more enforcement or a fence.
There are 12 million people here illegally.
I believe it’s more like 20 million. Note: if they are here illegally then they are criminals, remember that.
I’ve listened and learned.
In other words I am going to tell you what you want to hear so I can get elected.
We must secure our borders first and restore trust and confidence in our government. As President, I’ll hire new border patrol guards, build a fence, ask governors to certify that their borders are secure.
So now you are for the fence. Why should I believe you will keep your campaign promises? You have never kept any of them before. OK you did keep the ones you made with liberals. If the fence is so important then why did you gut the money for the fence in the last budget? It’s because you are a liar.
The two million people who have committed crimes will be deported immediately.
No, it’s at least 12 million and more like 20 million. They all should be deported IMMEDIATELY. It can be done.
No one will be rewarded for illegal behavior. They’ll go the the back of the line, pay fines and learn English.
Yet they get to stay. How is that not a reward?
For those already in our country, there will be no special privileges,
You still get to stay, which is a special privilege.
and we’ll punish employers who hire illegal immigrants.
Oh bullcrap. If that were true you would have done it already.
We’ll be humane and compassionate, but we will be firm.
That is code for you stupid Conservatives will get screwed and the illegal aliens will be rewarded for invading out country. Humane and compassionate to illegals; firm with Conservatives who don’t tow the line.
It’s a matter of national security.
Since when? You have never thought that before, why now? Oh yeah so you can get elected.
That is why I am voting for Mitt Romney. I don’t like a lot of his policies, however he is closer than the other turkeys. Also unlike Huckabee who is McCain’s lackey, he is not trying to throw the race to McCain so he can be VP.
If the GOP continues to push liberals down my throat and tell me that I have to compromise; I will leave the party and vote for a third party. I am tired of compromising. It’s time for lie-berals to compromise and give in. That means John McCain also.
Remember that McCain is the La Raza voice in Washington
Straight Talk
I don’t endorse the site The Real John McCain, however I do agree with the two videos I posted. Guess he did not get the memo that the media is supposed to help John McCain win the nomination.
John McCain is Bush’s greatest critic on the Iraq War — you have to read the comments.
*lol* Michelle Malkin has it right — Bob Dole back in your cage.

The mystery is why anyone would think the foreign-affairs part of Sen. McCain’s brain is not in sync with the part that produced: McCain/Feingold legislation that eviscerates core free-speech rights on which a functioning democrati…
John McCain is becoming a figure of ridicule before our eyes. As gaffe prone as Romney. This whole thing is a joke. A man who is ‘tongue-tied’ and can’t think on the spot. I wonder who that remind me of???
