The big loser, the honorable liberal RINO Governor of California

Big Government Gov, gets spanked by those he tried to appease. Didn’t you learn anything from GWB and his ass kissing of Ted Kennedy and the liberals? Clearly not.

Ahnold Takes It On The Chin

Govanator gets whacked. The bloated and very liberal plan could not even get support from Democrats save one.

“It doesn’t matter if there are all these good things in the bill if there’s not sufficient funding to pay for them,” said Sen. Sheila Kuehl, the Santa Monica Democrat who chairs the committee and supports a single payer system instead.

Whoa! a Democrat who thinks about actually funding the bloated bureaucracy? It must have been a really bad bill.

This however makes me think it’s nothing but election year window dressing.

Even Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata, a co-author of the bill, came out against it, telling the governor in a letter that it was irresponsible to adopt the health reform plan during a fiscal crisis.

So it’s ok in an up year? Unreal. However there is a Silver lining on every cloud.

Republicans have the votes to block any tax increases, and the only way to fund the plan is through a popular vote. The committee’s rejection likely does not leave enough time to get the bill on the November ballot.

The Gov has no time to get anything past and get it on the ballot. I doubt any tax increase would pass anyway.

Can’t say I am upset about this bill going down. The Gov has been crapping all over Conservatives and Democrats since he took office. He hired Democrats to staff his office and then started doing liberal things. It’s clear that Maria is pulling the levers.

Next Election

On Feb 5 a ballot initiative goes to the votes. Four of the initiatives would allow four Tribes to have an increase in the number of slots. All four initiatives are bullcrap. I will detail in the future. Along with the Indian initiatives there is an initiative that is nothing but feather bedding; so-called term limits reform. It’s more like lazy crooked elected officials full employment act. More later.
