Federal Government should be more active in economy says Hillary. That in itself is enough reason to oppose her. It’s time to wake up and realize that she is representing everything that the Founding Fathers opposed.

It’s not screwing things up enough? Anyone remember the “Great Depression”? That was caused by the government being “more involved”. Do we really need more of that? I think not.

In one of her most extensive interviews about how she would approach the economy, Mrs. Clinton laid out a view of economic policy that differed in some ways from that of her husband, Bill Clinton. Mr. Clinton campaigned on his centrist views, and as president, he championed deficit reduction and trade agreements.

Reflecting what her aides said were very different conditions today, Mrs. Clinton put her emphasis on issues like inequality and the role of institutions like government, rather than market forces, in addressing them.

In other words, socialism.

The market is YOU, and she says YOU are too stupid to do what is in your best interest. How much more power should the government have? Quite frankly it has TOO much now. It needs less.

She said that economic excesses — including executive-pay packages she characterized as often “offensive” and “wrong” and a tax code that had become “so far out of whack” in favoring the wealthy — were holding down middle-class living standards.

In other words, success is bad. Are they overpaid? What business is it of yours? Do you own the company?

“If you go back and look at our history, we were most successful when we had that balance between an effective, vigorous government and a dynamic, appropriately regulated market,” Mrs. Clinton said. “And we have systematically diminished the role and the responsibility of our government, and we have watched our market become imbalanced.”

Bald faced lie. Since the liberals moved into power (early 1900s) the country has nose dived. WW1 and WW2 saved the economy so no one noticed the poor job liberals are doing. The Cold war generated more economic recovery that covered up the failings of government. The “big government” programs like the TVA are “highway system” are trumpeted as how wonderful government is for everyone.

Using blunt and at times populist language in the interview, Mrs. Clinton, Democrat of New York, tried to steer a course between the often business-friendly themes embraced by her husband and the straight populism that John Edwards, the former senator from North Carolina, has used in his presidential campaign this year. Senator Barack Obama, Mrs. Clinton’s main rival for the Democratic nomination, has also begun using more of her kitchen-table language in recent days.

Notihing like a little triangulation.

She never mentions the cost of maintaining those projects, which means more jobs for bureaucrats, and taxation. She never notes how the highway system is breaking down because the spending by liberals is concentrated on buying votes and not on fixing issues. Building is much sexier than maintaining.

When did it start

The liberal take over of schools has caused a breakdown in the family, education is a joke, unions run the show — badly — and fund people like Hillary and Obama — both want to continue the growth of government, teen pregnancies and abortions are up, divorces are up — considered normal — as are abortions overall; people are more miserable and feel like they are failures and have no power. Why? Because they have been taught that in schools — by liberal union members who back democrats — and by the media — that is very liberal — and by entertainment programs that make fun of traditional values that have been successful.

The liberal prescription have been complete failures, and the liberals — by way of media control — were successful in keeping it quiet. Till now. Now they can not keep it quiet because of new media, and they are showing their true colors in their attacks upon those who disagree with them.

Their ideas are the same ones that have failed of 100 years, why keep doing it? In the past it was easy because the liberals controlled the media. Now the liberals have lost power and they are desperate to hold on to that power, and convert our system to pure socialism.

Grow up

Wake up people. Stop expecting the government to wet-nurse you through life. It’s your job, and your responsibility to take care of yourself, family, and friends. It’s not the government’s job, it’s yours.
