It’s my fault! — Blogcat Strut Lyrics
Jan 5th, 2008 by Mark
Yes, you read that right, I did it! Blame me, tell your friends, tell your family, tell the evil Democrats, tell the evil mainstream media (and link to this post); it’s me!
Helen Thomas says Bloggers caused bad journalism
See told you so, it’s me.
“What I really worry about is that I think the bloggers and everyone, everyone with a laptop thinks they’re journalists,”
How is that any worse than people who work for a “news” outlet thinking they are journalists? Think “talking heads” aka “newsreaders”, or “hosts” of “news” shows.
“And, they certainly don’t have our standards. They don’t have our ethics, and so forth. There’s a deterioration,”
Yes, I actually believe in telling the truth. I don’t take money for posts. I don’t make up documents to make my story “true”, and I sure as hell don’t say:”The story is accurate, even if the documents are fake.” Yea, I don’t have your pathetic morals. Wait, liberals don’t have morals or ethics. Hmmm.
“Reporters laid down on the job in the run up to this [the Iraq] war.”
Oh, so that is the problem. I think. Wait. No … yes … no .. I’m not sure how this is my fault, but I want credit for it. LINK HERE!
Clearly we bloggers whipped out our voodoo laptops and started sticking pins in the MSM. Yea, that’s it.
Blogcat Strut (sung to the tune of “Stray Cat Strut”)
White and Black bloggers sittin’ on the net
Ain’t got the morals of the MSM
I’m untrained, and I don’t care
I post my stuff on a whim and a dare
Blog cat strut, I’m a bloggin man
I’m a keyboard cowboy, and that’s that man
Got an insult thrown at me by mean old hag
Get my feed, and type like hell
Meow, yeah, don’t cross the MSM
I don’t bother chasin’ stories ’round
I post all day lookin’ for a fight
Barking at the moonbats on a hot summer’s night
Singin’ the truth as the old media cries
Wow, bloggin man, you’re a real gone guy
the MSM wishing they could be as right as I
cuz I got blog class, and I got blog style.
It’s nice to be loved.

Hey, just wanted to let you know you hit a nerve with the design dolts when you posted over at Poynter. Always a good thing.
*lol* I noticed a large increase in traffic from there. Will have to go back and read the “retorts”. Thanks for the heads up.
They have their heads up, too, but they need to pull them out of the place they’re up.
