Oliver Stone Visits His Political Kin
Dec 30th, 2007 by Mark

Oliver Stone with brutal Dictator Fidel Castro in Cuba,
Castro is a friend of Chavez
Notorious Hollywood Director Oliver Stone is in Colombia visiting with the terrorist group FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia). He has joined a team of rescuers put together by Hugo Chavez.
I can save hostages
So why is here there? He has joined a “rescue team”. A rescue team put together by another favorite of Hollywood; Hugo Chavez.
Leaving the glamour of Hollywood far behind, Stone arrived in the steamy Colombian city of Villavicencio on Saturday as part of a mission led by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to retrieve three hostages held for years by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC.
Yes, leaving the “glamour” of Hollywood to garner praise from the Communist News Network, and be treated like a King. Life is so tough.
Chavez personally invited Stone to join the rescue delegation after the pair, who say they are mutual admirers, met for the first time last week in Caracas.
Dispatching rescue helicopters from Venezuela on Friday, Chavez joked that Stone was President Bush’s emissary to the operation, while Stone called Chavez “a great man.”
Yea, ok, right.
Is he worried about being kidnapped? Oh no, he is “the man”!
“But seriously, no, I’m not worried. The FARC knows there would be universal condemnation if they did that,”
Are you sure? And would it really matter to them?
FARC
The FARC, just what are they all about?
the FARC was founded as a Communist organization. The FARC leaned towards the Marxist strain of Communism and received a limited amount of funding from the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
They are also Cocaine growers and exporters.
the FARC’s growing hand in cocaine trafficking, and even production
They show the usual tendency to making money for themselves but not for others.
a significant portion of the FARC’s leadership, including FARC chief Manuel Marulanda, have been part of the organization since its founding and are presumably still dedicated to its Marxist ideology
So just what is their deal?
Current Goals: Today, the FARC’s primary goal is territorial control within Colombia. The FARC has several sources for the money it needs to pursue this goal. The majority of its funding comes from the cocaine trade, but the FARC also pursues kidnapping, extortion, and hijacking.
How does Oliver Stone see them?
” … it looks like they are a peasant army fighting for a decent living,”
Yes it is so hard to make it in the cocaine trade these days. Kidnapping is now di rigeur for peasants making a living. Unreal.
director and diplomat
He is now an expert on world policy.
The hostage release could improve prospects for hundreds of other rebel-held captives, Stone said, including three U.S. defense contractors whose four-year confinement he said he has closely followed.
Followed it closely? Like you did with Viet Nam. He still has not figured out the Viet Nam War, and he wants us to buy into this?
What is truly disgusting is that is this is nothing but a ploy to get attention by Chavez, Stone, and maybe even FARC. Think of all the positive press they all could receive if they pull this off? It’s disgusting.
there’s a movie in that
Yes, there is. Several.
“This release could be a new start, a break in the ice — and the release has been well-propelled forward by Chavez,” said Stone. “The important thing is that we build momentum so everyone can be released.”
The mission also gives Stone a chance to get the lay of Colombia’s political landscape for two upcoming movies.
Footage from the liberation will form part of a documentary on “North America, and that includes our relations with South America and people like Chavez and Castro,” he said, without giving details.
He is also producing of one of two rival Hollywood biopics about Pablo Escobar, history’s most infamous cocaine trafficker, who was gunned down in 1993 after a bloody war against the Colombian state.
The movie, which Stone hopes to film in Colombia, is based loosely on a book by Escobar’s brother, Roberto.
Documentary by Stone is the same as a Documentary by Michael Moore. It’s not.
Bush or Escobar
So hard to choose.
“Escobar is still very controversial. Many people hate him, but many people love him,” said Stone, who first rendered the drug-smuggling underworld as a screen writer for “Midnight Express” and “Scarface.” “To some, he was this Robin Hood figure, giving money to the poor.”
So selling Cocaine and destroying lives is o.k. if you give money to the poor? Then why is removing Saddam Hussein and removing the yoke of Dictatorship, not a good thing? Oh wait you are a Communist and admire brutal Dictators like Hugo Chavez. Sorry my bad.
How do people like Stone live with themselves? They side with the scum of the earth, and get rich doing it. Disgusting.

Does anyone know the FARC’s Policy toward the Latin Tridentine Mass? I understand many of the Colombian Rebel Movements in the 1960s were actually founded by Catholic priests who were the Jefes, is that true? And back then there was only the Old Latin Mass before those Conciliar Changes of the Vatican II Council. In China, I know that the Chinese Communist Patriotic Catholic Church, which rebelled from Rome, still celebrates the Old Latin Mass Liturgy with their valid succession of bishops. But, I am not sure does the FARC-EP have chaplains like a regular military? And how about the ELN, and the various other rebel groups? Do these various rebel groups communicate together for special feasts (Communcatio in Sacris)?
Do they tolerate Traditionalist Catholic Priests? Also what is their policy toward Russian Orthodox Priests? Someone said they kill priests a lot, is that true?
I am little worried to hear Chavez mentioned, I read he is involved in the Sin (Betrayal) of Communicatio in Sacris with non-Catholics (like Muslims). I read these matters from a scholarly book written by a Latino author, Dr. DeTucci (I think he studied at the Javierana?), you can browse the book online:

I also read Simon Bolivar forbade Non-Catholic Churches in Gran Colombia (and any “Communicatio in Sacris”), is that true? Does President Uribe take a stance on this? Or is he under the control of the AUC? I read also that Cardinal Castrillón Hoyos.of Medellin, Colombia (head Vatican Official of the Latin Mass Indult Commission Ecclesia Dei) is a secret-Jefe of the AUC, and he also has helped the M-19 Block officially pontificating the Old Latin Mass for Medellin and Cali Cartel Families, and of course collecting their donations or la comienza, does anyone have revealing information on this scandal? I guess the rumor may be true that he also helps certain Israel Programs with financial laundering of funds under the guise of Church Hierarchy (Most Holy Family Monastery’s Michael Dimond being the Zionist Superior Jefe of this program). Further, I saw on television that Director Oliver Stone is investigating this whole Latin Scandal and claims to have the necessary inside information on Uribe and Friends to definitely expose him in a Documentary that will be released on video. I guess there is a certain Bishop Spadafore (from Palma de Troya, Spain) involved in the fiasco?
Thanks,
Rosa
P.S. I also read about Vlad Tepes, a Catholic Prince who resisted the Turkish Muslim Invasion in Romania, he is a national hero to Romania, and he actually died a Roman Catholic! Vlad certainly put fear into his enemies by his strict justice, and his enemies lied that he was a vampire to demonize him. So people can make up stories about people, and call them terrible things, like a terrorist. You can read more here:
