Oh this is too good. No doubt they are investigating him pretending to be a city Attorney, or Mayor. It’s a toss up right now.

The focus of the inquiry is unclear, but the investigators have been asking questions about a wide range of issues involving Aguirre’s legal work, public statements and other conduct.

Several people were questioned, most would not go on the record.

Two said the investigators seemed interested in whether Aguirre had ever taken any action or made any public statements that were contrary to the interests of the city.

Stupid question. When does he NOT say or do something damaging to the city?

Another – a former lawyer in Aguirre’s office – said an investigator asked whether Aguirre ever discussed seeking approval from the City Council before filing various lawsuits

Wow! If that is what they are looking into, then Mouthy Mike is in for a tough one. He routinely pops off about the Council, however he also plays footsy with them … when it suits his agenda.

Among other issues, Linley said he and the investigators discussed a court declaration in which Linley stated, “It was my experience serving as assistant city attorney under Michael Aguirre that he sought to use the criminal authority of his office to attack people whom he believed to be his enemies.”

Oh please that is obvious. He also goes after people who he disagrees with on issues. He prosecuted a "Minuteman" member who was attacked by illegal aliens. Yea, you read that right. The Minuteman was acquitted, and I have no doubt that some this is due to that case, and others that were not handled properly.
