Day 5 - Morning

How are we doing?
Everyone is drained. Qualcomm is flush with supplies — yea us! Channel 8 has raised almost a quarter million dollars to aid the Salvation Army. Sweet.

Day 4 — Evening update

Things are looking up
Went out for a haircut today, Yea, yea, yea; I’m vain. It was nice to be out among some people.
Was actually able to see the sky, and a sunset. Nice.

Day 4

Bad news: the Witch and Poomacha fires have merged. All rail service is down due to the Pendleton fires. Palomar mountain, and Deluz have been ordered evacuated.
Last night we had some power issues. SDG&E lost the mains coming from San Onofre. Some are back on. The air is thick with ash, and breathing is difficult. [...]
