Kevin Everett Paralyzed

UPDATE 9/12/2007 - 1400 PDT: Kevin Everett’s Doctor is saying that he believes that Kevin will not only walk but have a normal life. This based upon the voluntary movement seen after Kevin awoke from sedation. Tough Decisions may have saved his life and mobility.
ESPN is reporting that player Kevin Everett will be paralyzed after surgery today that resulted from getting hit on Sunday. That sucks.
Everett underwent spinal surgery today and will be sedated for the next couple of days.
That’s the risk you take when you play football. Good example of why steroids need to be banned. The last thing we need is bigger and stronger.
