UPDATE: see below
No doubt the global warming nuts — like Global Warming Cheerleader Dr. Heidi (ho) Cullen — are cheering today as a Hurricane has formed,

and a Tropical storm hit Texas.

No doubt Dr. Cullen is all “wet” because: Erin Providing unwanted rain to Texas and that is surely an indicator of Global Warming. Then again, isn’t everything an indicator of Global Warming.
Why Global Warming is bunk
Stu Ostro says it’s a crap-shoot
As Mike Bettes wrote about the other day, the long-range “numerical” (computer) models have been struggling to predict the ultimate destination of Dean (which as of this morning is the first hurricane of the 2007 Atlantic season).
Why is that the case? Well, there’s usually so much inherent uncertainty in 7-14 day forecasts that one wouldn’t expect the models (or humans) to consistently nail the specifics of tropical storms or hurricanes that far in advance! Note that the National Hurricane Center does not issue a track forecast beyond five days and nor does TWC produce a “cone of uncertainty” to extend out any farther in advance than that
Yet, we are to believe the Global Warming nuts, that they know what will happen in an entire ecosystem in a decade? I think not.
Data? we dun needa nuh stinkin datuh
Take a look at how much data they have on Tropical storm tracks.
Now you are probably laughing, asking how could they figure out the tracks with that mess. The reality is that they have all this data, and data on the weather where the storms occurred; yet they can’t even guess more than 5 days out.
How the hell are they going to figure out the temprature in 10 years? They can’t.
Like um-m-m ya-ah-h-h, it’s a fahct, mahn.
To-o-otally.
Does that stop “Dr. Global Warming”? Oh no. She actually thinks she is an “environmental journalist”.
In the four years I’ve been at The Weather Channel, I’ve found my roles shift between being a climate scientist and being an environmental journalist. In both roles, I’ve tried to stick to the science. Fundamentally, I think science should inform good policy.
What a crock. When she was a ‘weather girl’ she read instruments and forecasts. Now she is being an activist, ignoring the facts to push her flawed liberal version of the world, and how they feel it should be.
At the end of the day, there will always be politics. But my hope is that, when it comes to global warming, we’ll shift the discussion away from politics and toward proactive policies. Policies based on good science, cutting edge technology, economic strength, national security and energy independence.
See. Global warming is a fact and everyone who disagrees needs to shut up and get on board.

No discussion needed, just tax the rich and buy votes from the poor by creating “empowering” social programs that make you dependant upon the government.
I went to Columbia, damnit. Listen to me
Dr. Cullen clearly is desparate to be more than a ‘weather girl’. What is the point of a Ph.D. from Columbia if you can’t spout profound-sounding statements in the media? She must be embarrassed and distressed that her fellow students are “doing something.” Then again maybe she just feels that as a Columbian she has the right to change the world to her own distorted reality.
She clearly has an eye for topics that have a potential for high visibility. She doesn’t however have a moral compass. So she selfishly gloms onto the newest cause cerebella as a vehicle for fame and power; using it to rocket her to stardom whilst destroying reputations, lives, and countries
Hmm, sound like any liberals we know? Hint: Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Michael Moore, Pvt Beauchamp …
Neutral No More
The weather channel used to be a place I could watch and not be attacked by the news, or nuts, or politics. Those days are over thanks to Dr Cullen. She selfishly hopped on the Global Warming juggernaut to gain fame and fortune, not caring the cost to others.
This is typical of liberals. She has succeeded in destroying the Weather Channel as a neutral source. She did get her fame though, and that was all she cared about. Not much of a scientist. Oh and she gives “climate experts” a bad name.
UPDATE
Seems that local6 meteroligist Tom Sorrells is better at predicting the weather than the Weather Channel. Hmm. Tom Sorrells says “it’s going to be a huge dangerous and violent storm before it is over”
