Wordpress, WTF is up with them lately?

Today I get a comment on my blog and drop by to see it. My page is completely different! WTF happened to the right side of my page?
Seems WP did some “improving” over the weekend. Great, more improvements like the one that breaks the API for posting to WP. [that occurred last week sometime]
For those who have not seen it yet; you have to put all your widgets back into your template. Suppose it could have been worse.
