Betonsports founder arrested
Mar 30th, 2007 by Mark
Gary Stephen Kaplan [link]was arrested in the Dominican Republic late Wednesday [link]. His partner Norman Steinberg and other defendant Peter Wilson are still “at large”. Former Director of Betonsports David Carruthers was arrested in 2006 [link].
Some other interesting news:
- Antigua is having issues collecting on Betonsports debts [link]
- U.S. loses again in WTO [link]. For once I agree with the WTO.
- ECHO [link] cooperates and gets a pass from DOJ [link]
Note: ECHO was to merge with Intuit, but that has gone by the wayside. Interesting.
