Al Gore seems to take issue with Science Fiction as Fact. This is new. His own movie is nothing but Science Fiction, yet we are supposed to swallow it ‘whole hog’.
“The planet has a fever. If your baby has a fever, you go to the doctor. If the doctor says you need to intervene here, you don’t say, ‘well, I read a science fiction novel that tells me it’s not a problem.’ “
Any Scientologists want to weigh in on this comment? How about John Travolta, Tom Cruise, Jenna Elfman, Catherine Bell, Leah Remini, Anne Archer, Danny Masterson? Anyone?
If your baby’s fever went up a degree in one day, then would it be several thousand in a decade? Algore seems to have never heard of the self-regulating system?
Gore’s lack of parental skills aside, he clearly is nothing but a sound-bite PR flack. Oh and the House — run by Nancy ‘not the same ol thing’ Pelosi — allowed him to break Committee rules and NOT submit his testimony 40 hours in advance, and gave him 30 minutes of opening statement. This of course was to bore everyone to sleep, so they miss his actually responses.
