… and I have a migraine. Thanks algore! How much more of this idiot are we going to have to take?
The Senate suspended rules for him. He did not have to submit his testimony 48 hours in advance. Politics? Duh! He also was allowed to have a 30 minute opening statement, the norm is 5 minutes.
Seems odd that the Democrats want to bitch about the firings of the Attorney Generals as political, then turn around and play politics on “global warming”. O.K. it doesn’t, but I was trying to be nice.
So what di albore say?
“You’re not just off a little, you’re totally wrong,” said Texas Rep. Joe Barton, the leading Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, as he challenged Gore’s conclusion that carbon dioxide emissions cause rising global temperatures. Barton and Gore’s exchange grew testy at one point - Barton demanding that Gore get to the point and Gore responding that he would like time to answer without being interrupted.
“Global warming science is uneven and evolving,” Barton said.
Gore insisted that the link is beyond dispute and is the source of broad agreement in the scientific community
Bad news Al, but it’s not beyond dispute. As a matter of fact many scientist are upset at you and your hyperbolic rhetoric. They however don’t understand you are merely positioning yourself for a “savior” run for the White House.
