Free Ride for Google Over?

It was bound to happen. The “free riding” digital socialists would finally have to pay their fair share and stop living off the work of others, stealing it actually.
The “no harm” company that has been living off the work of others is now under attack for it’s leeching ways. Several of the companies that produce content have decided it is time to be paid for their work. It’s about damn time.
Of the decision to stand up to YouTube, no less than Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone said, “If you want to use us, pay us.”
I agree. I for one am sick and tired of Google and others getting a free ride. Maybe the people paying the price have wised up.
First a Belgian court found Google is violating copyright law. (2) Google of course denies this. Just as they denied caving into the Chinese government. Now YouTube is being forced to remove content due to it’s failure to be responsible and respect copyright.
I can hear the socialists now! “Information is free!”, “The web is meant to be free!”, “They only helped you!” “Capitalism is wrong!”, “We deserve to read this.”. All of it hogwash, and shows the sad state of thinking today.
Ironically the biggest benefit of the current ‘free rider’ system goes to those bemoaning the ‘pay as you go’ system. Makes sense since they stand to loose their river of “free” (stolen) content by which they make their living. It always amazes me that they think it is O.K. to live off the work of others and not compensate those for their work; they then demand a pay check for what they have done.
Google has been not much more than a pirate for years. With YouTube they are just being more honest about it, or egregious. Maybe they really thought they were going to get away with it?
It is clear that climbing into bed with the Communist (which is just socialism with a gun) in China they have undone their revenue stream. By bowing to the Chinese government they proved they were all about their own wallets and not about anything ethical, moral, valued, or idealistic. Those pesky actions give you away every time.
