Who the hell does she think she is? The Queen? Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi actually had the balls to demand a jet from the Military be at her disposal. Unbelievable. Remind me again how electing Democrats was going to put the Congress back in touch with the people? And what about the Environment? Remember this is a woman so petty she has put out a calendar that marks the anniversary of a hunting accident involving Dick Cheney.

Even more disgusting than her request, is the fact that Bush has capitulated to the request! Unbelievable. If she wants her own jet, buy one. That or win an election or get appointed to an administration post.

Party of the people my ass!. She even thinks she should get a jet the size of “Air Force One”. Unbelievable. Just more proof the Democrats feel they are America’s royalty, and we are just pee-ons.

The congressional source said Pentagon officials complained that Mr. Murtha, Pennsylvania Democrat, is accusing them of sexism for not immediately heeding her request.

They just can’t help themselves. They don’t get what they want and they whine, using the same old playbook of victimology. Pathetic. These people want to lead our country? No wait, they feel it’s their right to lead and we should acquiesce to all their demands, because they know what is best for us. No thanks.

Meanwhile, Republican Conference Chairman Adam Putnam of Florida said Mrs. Pelosi’s request represents “an arrogance of office that just defies common sense” and called it “a major deviation from the previous speaker.”

Minority Whip Roy Blunt of Missouri called it a “flying Lincoln Bedroom,” and Rep. Patrick T. McHenry, North Carolina Republican, labeled the speaker’s plane “Pelosi One.”

Amen!

“This is a bullet point to a larger value — Pelosi’s abuse of power continues,” Mr. McHenry said yesterday. “It began when the speaker denied minority rights to Republicans, continued with her ‘TunaGate’ scandal, and now she’s exploiting America’s armed forces and taxpayers for her own personal convenience.”

Yep, sure is. I wonder if the Mainstream media, you know the media that claims no liberal bias will complain about the royal attitude of the speaker? That’s not going to happen.

“She’s effectively taking a bird out of the fleet,” said a defense source. “It will most directly impact the House, because they’re the heavy users of the large aircraft. Congress looks at that Andrews fleet as their Hertz rent-a-car.”

So Congress as a whole is already ankle deep in misuse of the Air Force. Now here comes Queen Pelosi who demands that which she does not deserve, and has not earned, nor needs at the expense of her own party and the Congress.

The source said the Pentagon will likely give in to Mrs. Pelosi’s requests for a large plane and travel entourage, given her and Mr. Murtha’s power over defense spending.

Yea, tell me again how the culture of corruption has now mysteriously vanished with one election? The Republicans never made this type of demand, and never put the armed forces in this position. You know “over a barrel” with a gun to their heads. Disgusting.

The defense source, who asked not to be named, termed her request “carte blanche,” saying she wanted a plane that could carry an entourage just like President Bush, who flies on Air Force One, and Vice President Dick Cheney, who also always flies on military planes.

You want “Air Force One” get elected President. God help us if any of the current crop of liberals from the Democrat side win the Presidency. What’s next Nancy, a wing in the White House for you and your staff?

The moonbats are desparately trying to make this look like Nancy is not to blame here. As is required, WaPo to the rescue! Don’t you just love that non-biased reporting! Like last week when WaPo called the military mercenaries and stupid.

It is clear Nancy is taking advantage of the situation and the moonbats are desperately spinning their talking points otherwise. What they don’t tell you is that the Moonbat Pelosi, wanted the aircraft to fly her family and friends as well. Her entourage.

What is sad is how the left, continually abuse their offices for their own benefit while decrying the same (sometimes nonexistent) behavior in others. Hypocrisy I believe it is called.

The Democrats believe that 9/11 was a one-off, and that we are safe as babies in their mother’s arms. Since that is their belief, then why would she need this plane for her security?

As far as I am concerned they should all book through Travelocity or fly Southwest. On standby!
