Bush Still Does NOT Get It

GWB says illegal aliens invading America is akin to a traffic ticket.
WTF is wrong with this guy. Does he not understand that we are a sovereign nation? Why is it that we want to secure Iraq’s borders but not our own? Why is that Mexicans can freely come here ILLEGALLY (what don’t you get about illegal George?) and everyone else has to wait in line. Clearly some racists attitudes working here.
“If you had a traffic ticket and you paid it, you’re not forever a speeder, are you?” White House Press Secretary Tony Snow said in response to questions from The Examiner.
Huh? You broke the law, and then you stopped. This is the dumbest retort I have heard yet? Paying the fine does not change the fact you broke the law. It also is not what stopped you breaking it. I am beginning to wonder about these people. I am really surprised that Tony Snow would say such crap. I expect Bush to pull this kind of lunacy out of his backside, but come on! Enough. Secure the border or resign.
“So the fact is, you have paid your debt to society,” he added. “And we have come up with a way to make sure that the debt to society gets paid. Then you move forward.”
What? No, we don’t. These people are invading our country. They are not citizens. They have no rights here. “Pay their debt to society?” Are you kidding me?
Will Adams, spokesman for Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo. said: “The penalty for a speeding ticket is a fine,” he added. “The penalty for being here illegally is being removed from this country. But the president doesn’t want illegal aliens to go home.”
Amen brother.
Snow emphasized that illegals would have to pay fines, learn English and wait years for a chance at full citizenship. But Adams called that “a slap on the hand” compared to deportation.
To say the least. This is amnesty, pure and simple.
