Left’s Next Darling
Apr 2nd, 2006 by Mark
Yes, every week a new one arises and runs a new version of the “same ol’ thing”. Who is the newest fear-monger to grace us with their version of doom and gloom?
Professor Eric Pianka from the University of Texas — I am so embarrassed — Biology department. Yes, another ‘doom and gloomer’ at a major University. Not really shocking given the current state of education in our country.
So what did he say that is so bad?
“Every one of you who gets to survive has to bury nine,”
Yep, you read that correctly. If you want to live you have to kill 9 others.
6.5 billion humans is too many.
In his estimation, “We’ve grown fat, apathetic and miserable,” all the while leaving the planet parched.
The solution?
A 90 percent reduction.
Why is this idiot teaching at a major University in this country? Is he on display to show how loopy his ideas truly are? No he is in the mainstream at educational institutions around the U.S. and the world.
Though his statements are admittedly bold, he’s not without abundant advocates. But what may set this revered biologist apart from other doomsday soothsayers is this: Humanity’s collapse is a notion he embraces.
Yes, he WANTS the end of mankind. Well let’s face it that is what all lefties want, they just won’t admit it publicly. Their hatred for humans is well documented, and denied by the left.
Indeed, his words deal, very literally, on a life-and-death scale, yet he smiles and jokes candidly throughout the lecture. Disseminating a message many would call morbid, Pianka’s warnings are centered upon awareness rather than fear.
Yep, laughing and joking. It’s all a big game to them. Hmmm, maybe it is? Maybe he is doing everything he can to spread his Socialist view of things using the “it could be worse” argument? Whatever it is, it is clear he is neither a serious person nor one to be taken seriously.
The only thing that needs to be taken seriously is his anti-God attitude, aka secular humanist viewpoint. It’s the same one all lefties have. Oh they deny it is this gloomy, yet they continue to fight for exactly what he espouses.
They claim to not be for anthropocentrism, they then turn around tell us why only man can save the world.
Pianka hammered his point home by exclaiming, “We’re no better than bacteria!”
The left actually believes this nonsense. Of course they alone, are above all of us. So they can tell us how to fix the problems. It would be funny if it were not so pathetic and stupid, not to mention arrogant.
No God (God says Humans are special), fewer humans (because we are not special), and a human centered attitude (you don’t hear the dolphins coming up with this do you?); yep that’s the ticket! Ticket to Socialism and equal pain for all.
One question to ask though, who would decide who dies?
“[Disease] will control the scourge of humanity,” Pianka said. “We’re looking forward to a huge collapse.”
How convenient, they can kill us all and not take the blame. So should we stopping fighting disease? Wouldn’t that be ‘heartless’? They don’t like it when humans kill other humans, yet they claim it is normal for animals to do it. Oh and disease as well, unless they can take money out of your pocket and feed it to the liberal scientists.
The only exception is when they want to let someone they deem dispensable die, like Terry Schiavo. Hmmm. Pulls it all together, does it not?
**** UPDATE ****
There are some who are outraged in the scientific community, not many but some.
If the professional community has lost its sense of moral outrage when one if their own openly calls for the slow and painful extermination of over 5 billion human beings, then it falls upon the amateur community to be the conscience of science.
If Dr. Pianka really believes what he is spewing, he would remove himself from this world. You lefties who are saying that is ‘over the top’; remember your “chicken hawk” ‘argument’. Now, either walk it like you talk it or STFU!
