Anti-War Protest *yawn*
Mar 20th, 2006 by Mark
Another anniversary, another yawner of a so-called protest. Once again the main-stream media is doing everything they can to portray it as a victory; but the story is much different. The mainstream media keeps saying “thousands” showed up, but the stories don’t reflect those numbers as accurate. Even protesters are “lamenting the apathy”. It’s not apathy, it’s reality.
Or is it? Note the homosexual banner alongside the terrorist group PLO’s sign.

My favorite passage is this:
Only about 200 joined a march Sunday down New York’s Fifth Avenue. Seventeen people were arrested on disorderly conduct charges, police said. Saturday’s rally drew more than 1,000 people.
In one of the three most liberal cities in the U.S they can only muster 200 people, after a supposed 1000 showed up the day before? Sounds like the first number is over-inflated.
The vast majority of protests were NOT about the war, but about hating Freedom, America, and Good.
*** “Protest” stories ***
Salt Lake Trib — Protest Fizzles
Houston Chron — Fewer Protest War : The story however reads much differently
Buffalo News — “Thousands Protest” : Not sure where they were.
SF Chron — Wow! 75 protesters! : The most anti-American town in the world can’t muster a real protest. Outstanding! And note how “peaceful” they are.
ABC (US) News — Oh now it’s Tens of Thousands? : gotta love the MSM!
al Jazeera — “Tens of Thousands” : ABC sounds like al Jazeera. Nice.
Well you get the point.
