You won’t see any of these pics in the NYT. They are much too positive.
Our military is in the Philippines assisting the Philippine government with relief efforts. Even with the crappy way the Philippinos have treated us, we still divert a ship to help them save themselves.
Sometimes I wonder why we do it. Then I remember that we are not animals and love all people, unlike those who hate us out of jealousy or ignorance.
The silence is deafening.
