Google Hate

Google has decided that today is not Christmas after all. It also is not Chanukah, either. Well since they decided that Taiwan is not a country, I suppose they can erase Christmas as well.
This is what Google thinks of our Lord’s Day.
I am sure they will say they were not trying to offend anyone. This is what happens when you try to be all things to all people; or you try to be in-offensive to all people. Success is impossible.
It also seems they are trying to imply we are on a treadmill of capitalism. (Click the logo to go to the doodle page). The mouse is running a generator to power the “Christmas Lights”? Can’t be anything else.
Also note on the doodle page that they do not say Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah. Hmmm.
Would that be a statement about Christmas or America in general? Can’t be about Judaism or Islam, that is for sure. We all know of Google’s love for Communism and Socialism. We also know of THEIR insatiable appetite for profits, at any cost. What do you expect, they are liberals.
Offensive, yet not surprising.
