Sen Reid Involved in Scandal

Senate Minority “Leader” Harry Reid (D-Nev), arranged for grants to be given to a Pastor who, along with his wife has been indicted on Fraud Charges. He of course denies any wrongdoing, of course.
District Attorney Ronnie Earle (D – Austin, TX), says that Tom Delay is guilty by association. It would then follow that Reid is also guilty by association. What do you want to bet that won’t be what your hear out of the Democrats?
WASHINGTON — The money that led to the indictment this week of two Las Vegas pastors and the wife of one of them came from federal grants arranged by Sen. Harry Reid in September 2001, a Reid spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Moving to distance Reid from a possible scandal, aide Tessa Hafen said the senator sought the money on behalf of a nonprofit social services agency and not for the churches or persons who have been accused of mishandling the money.
Well, well, well, so Democrats can solicit money but Republicans can’t? Or is it that only Republicans are responsible for what other people do, while Democrats are NEVER responsible for what other people do? Quite a predicament for the Democrats.
