They Just Don’t Get It

Just watched the former City of New Orleans City Planner on MSNBC. She would not say that there are some areas that should not be rebuilt. Hemming and hawing, she declared that they should not reject any idea for rebuilding an area. What?
Amazing the arrogance of bureaucrats. They just will not admit that they are the problem, and not the solution. I so wish a liberal would say:“Hey city planning does not work!” Oh well I can dream.
The former Mayor is on CNN making excuses for why the NO team failed, and is STILL failing. He is shifting the blame to the military, and calling on the Feds to fix the mess that he and his buddy the current mayor have screwed up. He is shifting the conversation to efforts to raise money. Refusing to explain why the leaders were not prepared, he said and I quote:“Hindsight is 20/20,and we need the highest levels of government to help.” WTF! Why don’t you just say, it is GWB’s fault? Same thing.
I always find it interesting to listen to the left when THEY are the problem. Suddenly they want cooperation, they ask for help, they believe that everyone should pitch in, and they don’t want to place blame. Compare that to how they are talking about Haley Barbour, Gov of Miss.
CNN is reporting the the military is not getting any requests for help. They even went so far as to blame the lack of communication upon the NO leadership. Well they will surely lose their liberal membership card.
Wow! One of the guest called the efforts of the city ‘baffling’. It was clear he felt that the city was ill prepared and should have been prepared for this. Finally!
