Update on Near Miss at McCarran

ATC is on leave, after boo-boo.
A Las Vegas air traffic controller was on paid leave this week after mistakenly allowing one airliner to take off from a McCarran International Airport runway as another jet taxied across the same runway.

Some idiot at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport caused two planes to “near miss”.  An Air Traffic Controller confused two planes and gave them conflicting instructions. They missed each other by 100 feet. The controller is “getting more training”. How about a beating?
