This is the actually chat from a tourney held on Pokerstars yesterday. The winner of this “Double Shootout” tourney wins a trip and buyin to the main event at the WSOP. Most sites require you to play your first win, if they even allow you to win a second they will let you sell it. Most don’t allow selling the seat anymore. Pokerstars is very clear that if you win your seat and can not, for whatever reason make the event you forfeit the seat and all money that you won. And yet here we have morons on parade!

Lee Jones [PokerRoom Manager]: If one of you wins the seat, you can defer to the ‘06 WSOP.
ActionJeff: ok so since u dont want to buy the seat from me luv
ActionJeff: i will offer u 2500 for the seat
ActionJeff: otherwise, i would want to play it out
luv2winalot: 4k and you can have it
luv2winalot: we are about even
luv2winalot: it is a 10k seat for 4k
ActionJeff: you cant do anything with the seat
luv2winalot: i can sell my other seat
ActionJeff: 3000 is my max offer
ActionJeff: 3K?

luv2winalot: 4k, cause you get 10k plus 1k for the week
